This role is designed for a candidate who will work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to set up, coordinate, and execute plans for special events effectively and safely. The individual will represent Southern Eagle Sales and Service with professionalism to maximize sales opportunities, build lasting relationships, and increase the visibility of SESS products among event attendees and retail partners. The position involves significant logistical responsibilities such as loading and delivering equipment, preparing event venues, and merchandising during sponsored or invested events. Additionally, the role requires handling administrative tasks like invoicing, verifying permits, and managing product and funds. The successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of safety protocols and regulations. Given the nature of the job, the ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings during various special events is essential. A valid Class A CDL is required, or the candidate must be able to obtain one within 90 days of hire, complemented by a current DOT physical or the ability to pass one. Physical demands are significant, with frequent lifting and extensive periods of standing and movement in diverse weather conditions. Job Requirements

  • Current DOT physical or ability to pass one
  • valid Class A CDL or ability to obtain within 90 days
  • strong motor skills and physical condition
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repetitively and occasionally up to 167 lbs
  • capacity to stand, lift, twist, bend, kneel, push, and pull for 8 to 12 hours
  • frequent climbing in and out of truck cabs, use of stairs and ramps, and working in tight spaces
  • ability to work in all weather conditions
  • willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • clean driving record

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • possess or obtain a valid Class A CDL within 90 days
  • demonstrate strong math and cash handling skills
  • ability to manage orders using software and quickly learn new systems

Job Duties

  • Coordinate daily with marketing team members to plan and execute tasks for special events and venue preparation
  • load and deliver equipment to venues and pick up post-event, ensuring equipment is accounted for and functional
  • merchandise events, venues, and retailers during SESS sponsored or invested events
  • handle administrative tasks including invoicing, verifying beer permits, and balancing product and funds
  • comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws including Louisiana ATC laws
  • maintain safety standards and clean driving record
  • work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings during events
