The Spa Attendant role at St. Regis Newport Beach requires offering a warm welcome and orientation to guests about spa facilities, including locker rooms, lounge areas, and hospitality stations. Responsibilities include providing amenities such as water, juice, and heated neck pillows, answering guest inquiries regarding property information and spa services, and escorting guests to treatment rooms. The attendant must regularly check for schedule updates throughout the day and maintain cleanliness in work areas, treatment rooms, locker rooms, and lounges. Additional duties include disposing of trash and dirty linens appropriately, securing supplies after shifts, and stocking towels and other necessities in designated areas. The role demands adherence to all company policies and procedures, maintaining a professional personal appearance, and protecting company assets. Safety is a priority, requiring reporting of accidents or unsafe conditions and completing necessary training and certifications. This position also involves physical activity such as reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds, as well as standing, sitting, or walking for lengthy periods.
