Job Description
Pacific Hospitality Group is a distinguished family-focused hospitality company that embraces a unique owner/operator business model, which delivers exceptional value to both investors and team members. Known for a commitment towards long-term asset holding, the company fosters sustained business growth and enriches employee careers. Guided by core principles such as integrity, compliance, value creation, principled entrepreneurship, customer focus, knowledge, change, humility, respect, and fulfillment, Pacific Hospitality Group maintains a culture of excellence and ethical responsibility. Their vision extends beyond business success to enrich lives through memorable customer experiences, community engagement, and honoring spiritual values, making them a notable employer in the luxury hospitality sector.
The Spa Concierge role within Pacific Hospitality Group is a pivotal position in their luxury spa service operation. As the initial point of contact for spa guests, the Spa Concierge ensures a warm, personalized, and seamless experience from check-in to departure. This position blends outstanding guest service skills with vital operational tasks including managing spa reservations, maintaining pristine spa environments, assisting guests with amenities, supporting both retail and food and beverage operations, and guaranteeing that the spa’s atmosphere consistently meets and exceeds guest expectations. Ideal candidates for this role will thrive in a fast-paced luxury setting, demonstrating both independent initiative and collaborative spirit. They will also showcase exceptional communication skills and have a passion for delivering top-tier guest services.
In this role, the Spa Concierge is responsible for welcoming and engaging guests warmly, efficiently managing appointment scheduling and modifications, providing comprehensive information about spa services, and anticipating guest needs to recommend appropriate treatments and products. Additionally, the Spa Concierge supports the financial side of operations by processing payments accurately and resolving guest concerns swiftly either personally or through escalation to leadership when necessary. The role also entails maintaining cleanliness and organization across various spa areas such as the reception, retail spaces, treatment rooms, locker rooms, fitness center, lounge areas, steam and sauna facilities, and hospitality stations.
Candidates with prior experience in hospitality, spa, hotel, or guest service environments are preferred, along with familiarity in spa scheduling or hotel management systems. Knowledge of Forbes Travel Guide or luxury hospitality standards is a strong advantage. The role requires a professional appearance, multitasking ability with an eye for detail, basic computer proficiency, and cash-handling experience. Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for weekends and holidays, is essential. Bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, are considered a plus. Physical requirements include the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and comfortably work in warm, humid environments like steam rooms and saunas.
Pacific Hospitality Group stands firm on equal opportunity employment, promoting a workplace free from discrimination and harassment based on race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, and other protected characteristics. This commitment applies across all employment terms including recruitment, hiring, placement, promotion, compensation, and training, fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment for all staff members.
