Job Description
The Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes is a prestigious luxury hotel located in Orlando, Florida, known for providing exceptional guests with unforgettable experiences. Part of the globally renowned Ritz-Carlton brand under Marriott International, this establishment upholds the highest standards of luxury hospitality. The Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes prides itself on delivering exquisite service, comfort, and care, ensuring that every visit is not just a stay but a remarkable memory. This award-winning property offers a variety of upscale amenities, including fine dining, spa and wellness facilities, and beautiful event spaces, making it a preferred destination among discerning travelers and local guests alike.
This part-time, non-management role based at the spa department at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes is designed for individuals passionate about guest service and hospitality. The position involves scheduling spa and salon services for both individual clients and large groups. The ideal candidate will adeptly manage reservations using the spa/salon software system, proactively confirm appointments by contacting guests, and answer any questions regarding services offered. This role requires a high level of communication skills to update staff on schedule changes and coordinate with supervisors or managers to resolve any booking conflicts. On-site responsibilities include greeting guests, verifying their appointments with accuracy, providing orientation on spa services, and promoting and selling additional spa offerings to enhance the guest experience.
Handling financial transactions is a key component of the job, as the incumbent must manage an assigned cash bank, secure change for transactions, process guest payments, and ensure accurate logging of cash tips for employees. The role also entails maintaining operational excellence by reporting maintenance needs to engineering and any incidents or unsafe conditions to the manager. Employees are expected to follow all company policies and procedures, maintain a professional appearance, and protect proprietary information and company assets. The environment expects associates to deliver exemplary customer service standards—the 'Gold Standards' of The Ritz-Carlton—which emphasize respect, professionalism, and attentiveness.
Working at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes means being part of a diverse global team that celebrates unique backgrounds and fosters a culture of inclusion and empowerment. This position encourages personal and professional growth within a collaborative and inspiring environment. Weekend availability is preferred to accommodate guest needs during peak times, which is common in the luxury hospitality and spa industry. The role includes standing, sitting, or walking for long periods and occasional light physical activities such as lifting objects weighing up to 10 pounds. This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to start or grow their career in luxury hospitality with a brand known worldwide for exceptional service and employee care.
