The Front Office Receptionist & Administrative Assistant role at our Southwest Neuroscience location is a pivotal position that facilitates smooth operations at the front desk and enhances patient experience through excellent service. This role requires a professional with exceptional customer service skills, the ability to multitask efficiently, and a team-oriented mindset. The primary responsibilities involve managing patient scheduling, greeting and assisting guests, taking phone calls, checking patients in and out, and handling payments including co-pays and deductibles. Beyond these duties, the position includes updating patient records, verifying insurance information online, and assisting healthcare providers with necessary paperwork. Maintaining cleanliness and organization at the front desk, as well as preparing daily cash and credit reports, is also essential. This role is vital in ensuring that operational details are handled smoothly and patients feel welcomed and well-supported throughout their visit. Job Duties

  • Greet guests
  • Answer phones
  • Scheduling patients
  • Checking in and out patients
  • Collecting co-pays and deductibles
  • Precepting and scheduling radiological studies
  • Updating patient information accordingly
  • Verifying insurance on each insurance website
  • Helping providers with any paperwork that is given to complete
  • Make sure all packets are completely stocked before leaving for the day
  • Clean chairs, pens, tables, etc.
  • Daily cash and credit report each and every day before leaving your shift
