Job Duties

  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to lead the kitchen team
  • Set and maintain high standards for food quality and presentation
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Support the culinary development and training of kitchen staff
  • Motivate and supervise kitchen personnel to maintain an efficient and positive working environment
  • Communicate with vendors to procure fresh ingredients at competitive prices
  • Perform cost analysis and assist with profit and loss management
  • Monitor stock levels, place orders, and minimize waste to maintain cost efficiency
  • Manage multiple tasks and priorities during service periods
  • Adapt to changing needs and challenges within the kitchen environment
