Job Requirements

  • Culinary experience
  • Availability for full-time work including weekdays and weekends
  • Ability to follow recipes and portion control standards
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation policies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Physical stamina to work in a kitchen environment
  • Flexibility to supervise and assist team members when needed

Job Qualifications

  • Professional culinary experience required
  • Culinary certificate or formal training preferred
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to quality, consistency, and resident satisfaction
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Job Duties

  • Ensure meals are consistently prepared and served with attractive presentation
  • Prepare meals according to The Springs Living menus, recipes, portion control standards, and special dietary guidelines
  • Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health department policies and procedures
  • Resolve resident dining concerns promptly and professionally
  • Ensure proper food storage, labeling, dating, and inventory standards are maintained
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including equipment, surfaces, and floors
  • Complete cleaning tasks according to established schedules
  • Supervise food service team members in the absence of the Food & Beverage Director
  • Assist with food inventory management and ordering as directed
