Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in culinary arts or equivalent accredited culinary apprentice program
  • Three to five years of experience as a sous chef or equivalent
  • Ability to work all hot kitchen and cold food assembly stations in a high production kitchen
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP)
  • Ability to travel up to 75 percent of the time with extended stays
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Support the design and development chefs on the creation of new and innovative products
  • Participate in culinary related workshops, trade shows, and continuing education opportunities
  • Travel extensively across North America supporting menu presentations and daily operations
  • Maintain all areas of the HQ test kitchen and equipment
  • Organize and rotate ingredient products to maximize shelf life and reduce waste
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including chefs, managers, procurement personnel, analysts, and quality teams
  • Document, yield, and perform data entry of ingredients and recipes in CBASE
