This role is for a dynamic and experienced Sous Chef who is eager to grow into a Kitchen Manager position, leading a culinary team and overseeing daily kitchen operations within the vibrant setting of Hard Rock International. The successful candidate will be entrusted with ensuring exceptional food quality, upholding stringent safety and sanitation standards, and fostering a positive and efficient work atmosphere. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Culinary degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a professional kitchen environment
- Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a culinary setting
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a sous chef or in a similar culinary leadership role
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to lead and motivate a culinary team
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience in training and developing kitchen staff
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary trends

Job Duties
- Support and assist in the preparation and design of all food orders
- Maintain the highest standards of brand, local health, safety, and food preparation hygiene
- Support the team in consistent execution of all systems and processes to consistently deliver all products and services to brand standards
- Support senior management in building a highly functional hourly team who share a common vision and values surrounding the overall success of the kitchen
- Foster an environment of customer service in which all team members put the guest first in every interaction
- Execute established food standards for overall guest satisfaction that meet or exceed brand expectations
- Ensure the highest levels of hygiene and food handling practices to deliver optimal quality of product to guests
- Support staff development and advancement along well-defined career paths
- Serve as a Culinary Learning Coach developing, implementing, and executing learning and development programs for all Heart of House employees
- Fill in for the Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager in planning and directing food preparation when necessary
- Possess a self-motivated approach to his/her own personal and professional growth
