Job Requirements
- Three to five years of experience in commercial cooking or apprenticeship or certification from culinary school required
- Knowledge of food and hygiene regulations such as HACCP
- Ability to demonstrate financial controls including cost and stock management
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Service orientation
- Leadership capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish

Job Duties
- Execute and supervise food production activities such as cleaning, cutting, marinating, seasoning, and cooking of food items
- Assume responsibilities of the Executive Chef during his or her absence including vacation, off-days, and menu presentations
- Supervise, coordinate, and control kitchen helpers in food storage, maintaining tidiness and following first in - first out principles
- Conduct, coordinate, and supervise inventories
- Monitor material consumption and order required food and equipment daily to satisfy production plans
- Participate in the development of food products and menus for presentations
- Maintain and monitor hygiene, health, and safety standards ensuring adherence to HACCP regulations
