The Sous Chef role at Morrison Healthcare is an excellent opportunity for culinary professionals eager to advance their careers within a reputable healthcare foodservice company. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $58,000 to $65,000 annually, along with relocation assistance for candidates moving from outside the area. As a Sous Chef, you will work under the Executive Chef, assisting in daily kitchen operations with an emphasis on menu planning, food production, and maintaining high food quality, safety, and sanitation standards. The role includes responsibilities such as cost control, inventory management, executing catering events, and supervising and developing kitchen team members. Notably, the position offers a great work-life balance with a consistent five-day workweek, including only one weekend every fifth week. Shifts primarily run from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with some flexibility for alternate schedules depending on business needs.
