We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sous Chef Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Falmouth, MA. The Sous Chef Line Cook will play a critical role in supporting the head chef with daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. This position requires a person who is passionate about culinary arts and has the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities also include collaborating on the development and execution of seasonal menus that emphasize fresh, high-quality ingredients inspired by New England and European cuisine. The Sous Chef Line Cook will be tasked with managing kitchen inventory, ensuring all kitchen equipment is operating properly, and adhering to stringent food safety standards. Additionally, this role involves assisting in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff to promote a culture of excellence and teamwork. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years experience as sous chef or line cook
  • food handler certification preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

  • proven experience in culinary positions such as sous chef or line cook
  • proficiency in food preparation techniques and recipe execution
  • knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance

  • prior experience in high-volume or restaurant environments
  • culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred but not required
