Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior cooking and supervisory experience preferred
  • Availability to work full-time schedule Sunday through Saturday, 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with kitchen work
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
  • Strong team player with leadership skills
  • Commitment to upholding food safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Prior cooking and supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to coordinate and manage kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work Sunday through Saturday on a full-time schedule
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Commitment to customer service excellence

Job Duties

  • Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensure all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervise hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and performance reviews
  • Store food in designated areas following all corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures
  • Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils
  • Clean workstation thoroughly before leaving area
  • Keep display equipment clean during meal service
  • Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • Relay relevant information to supervisor
  • Demonstrate understanding of daily menu items and explain them accurately to associates and customers
  • Monitor inventory and deliveries of product and supplies
  • Track product production, consumption, and waste
  • Inform supervisor when supplies or products are low
  • Perform other duties as assigned
