Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior cooking and leadership experience
Ability to work full-time schedule including early mornings and rotating weekends
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Ability to comply with food safety and sanitation regulations
Effective communication skills
Ability to handle customer interactions professionally
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position
Willingness to work in a fast-paced healthcare hospitality environment

Job Qualifications

Prior cooking and leadership experience
Ability to supervise and manage food service associates
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage inventory and monitor supplies
Experience following approved recipes and production standards
Capability to work flexible hours including weekends

Job Duties

Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and recommending disciplinary action
Stores food in designated areas following all corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils and cleans workstation thoroughly before leaving area
Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
Demonstrates complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to associates and customers
Monitors inventory and deliveries of product and supplies, tracks product production, consumption and waste
Performs other duties as assigned
