The available position is for a key leadership role within the culinary team, reporting to the Chef De Cuisine or an assigned designee. This position plays a crucial role in supporting all culinary operations at Cowboy Chow, overseeing production, operations, and sanitation aspects throughout the facility. The role is designed for an experienced culinary professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and understands the complexities of managing high-volume, full-service food operations. Responsibilities include managing daily schedules, monitoring food quality and labor costs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of creativity and operational expertise to create innovative menus and execute exceptional food services that meet the company’s elevated standards.

Additionally, this role demands strong leadership qualities, the ability to communicate effectively with both team members and guests, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary workspace. Job Requirements

  • degree or certification from an accredited culinary arts institute or apprenticeship certification from the American Culinary Federation
  • minimum three years experience in a high-volume full-service food operation
  • excellent leadership skills
  • financial analysis expertise
  • strong team building and communication skills
  • knowledge of kitchen sanitation operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment
  • detail-oriented and organized
  • proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint
  • flexibility to work extended hours including nights weekends and holidays
  • ability to provide support to other facilities during business emergencies
  • ability to obtain Food Protection Manager Certification
  • ability to multi-task in a fast paced team environment
  • ability to read speak and write in English
  • sufficient physical mobility including reaching bending stooping wiping pushing and pulling for extended periods
  • ability to lift push and pull up to 50 pounds
  • ability to stand or walk for long periods
  • availability for all stadium events

Job Qualifications

  • degree or certification from an accredited culinary arts institute or apprenticeship certification from the American Culinary Federation
  • minimum three years experience in a high-volume full-service food operation
  • proven track record in improving kitchen efficiencies quality and relative costs
  • excellent leadership financial analysis team building and communication skills customer service
  • knowledge of kitchen sanitation operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment
  • detail-oriented and extremely organized with the ability to learn new programs and procedures quickly
  • proficient on Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint
  • flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including nights weekends and holidays
  • open to providing incidental or short-term support to other facilities in the event of a business emergency
  • able to obtain Food Protection Manager Certification
  • ability to multi-task in a fast paced team orientated setting
  • ability to read speak and write in English

Job Duties

  • overall management of culinary operations of assigned department
  • daily schedules coordinate and actively participate in operations and monitor food and labor cost
  • ensure all products used in the preparation of menu items meet our high standards
  • create innovative menu offerings in response to guest and client feedback
  • leads team with respect and commitment to exceeding guest expectations daily
  • monitors all food preparation and kitchen activities to ensure compliance with health department regulations
  • writes costs tests maintains and updates all menu specifications recipes and pictures production forecasts and ensures same are being followed
  • adheres to and enforces inventory and labor control measures performs inventory counts as requested
  • provides efficient service and quality products by maintaining positive customer and client relations through effective communication and prudent financial practices
  • ensures all workstations storerooms and dining areas remain clean sanitized safe and in proper working order at all times
  • other duties as assigned
