Job Duties
- Prepares food items for various areas like the cold case, salad bar, and hot bar following production sheets and recipes
- Ensures food quality, consistency, and freshness by following recipes, labeling, dating, and rotating items
- Monitors food levels, replenishes supplies, and manages inventory
- Supervises and trains assistant chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff
- May assist with customer service, answering questions, and providing excellent service
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment, ensuring adherence to health and sanitation standards
- Maximizes sales by ensuring proper stocking, merchandising, and rotation of products
