- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food production techniques
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of kitchen equipment use and operation
- Outstanding leadership, management, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to speak, read, and write English

Job Duties
- Coordinates and supervises the activities of restaurant food production
- Ensures all food products meet the highest quality standards and timely service
- Orders raw food ingredients and manages inventory control
- Supervises kitchen opening and closing operations
- Assists and supervises food handlers in preparing hot and cold menu items
- Monitors food holding, storage, and sanitation adherence
- Conducts employee training, scheduling, performance appraisals, and staffing level adjustments
