Join Lucky Strike Entertainment as a Sous Chef and become an integral part of a vibrant team dedicated to culinary excellence within the entertainment industry. This part-time role offers a competitive hourly wage of $21-$23 and is perfect for culinary professionals who thrive in high-energy, fast-paced food and beverage environments. As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and elevating the company’s nationally recognized menus, ensuring quality, consistency, and innovation across all food operations. In this role, you will adhere strictly to company-mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs, manage budgets that include revenue, costs of sales, labor, and supplies, and optimize operating cash flow related to food operations by reviewing monthly financial statements and making appropriate adjustments. When the Kitchen Manager or Chef is unavailable, you will lead banquet planning and execution, supervise food preparation and service, and coordinate clean-up efforts alongside the operations and sales teams. Additionally, you will handle estimating food consumption, purchasing inventory, scheduling staff to meet fluctuating business demands, and fostering a positive and hardworking team environment. Ensuring that food quality, freshness, and presentation meet the company’s high standards is essential, as is overseeing kitchen sanitation and equipment maintenance in compliance with local Department of Health regulations.

This role requires a minimum of one to three years of kitchen supervisory experience in settings such as retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurants, along with relevant experience or a comparable combination of education and work background. Current ServSafe certification is mandatory to uphold the highest food safety standards.
The position is ideal for individuals passionate about culinary arts who seek to grow their career within a reputable and supportive entertainment company that offers performance-based incentives, a competitive total rewards package including healthcare coverage, and a range of other benefits tailored to enhance employee satisfaction and well-being. Shift availability includes evening and night times, with a focus on weekend work, reflecting the nature of the entertainment venue’s busy periods. This is a hands-on role in a typical entertainment environment requiring physical activity including walking, bending, standing for extended periods, and occasional lifting with assistance.
