Job Description

Coordinates, supervises, and assists all restaurant food production activities for a prestigious establishment. Ensures high-quality food products are prepared and served promptly in a timely manner. Responsible for food ordering, production, and storage. Additional duties include selection, training, and scheduling of kitchen staff.

Job Requirements

  • ACF certification as a Sous Chef or culinary degree from a recognized culinary institute and equivalent experience
  • Three to five years of experience in quantity food production in an upscale country club, hotel, or freestanding restaurant
  • One plus years of supervisory experience in quantity food production in an upscale country club, hotel, or freestanding restaurant
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food production techniques
  • Thorough knowledge of kitchen equipment use and operation
  • Ability to bend, stoop, stand, lift 50 pounds, and push carts weighing up to 200 pounds
  • Outstanding leadership, management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
