Job Description
Firebirds is a full-service restaurant known for its commitment to providing quality food and a positive work environment. The Sous Chefs at Firebirds work closely with the Executive Chef to oversee all back of house operations and food production for the restaurant and FIREBAR®. They are responsible for managing team members, ordering inventory, conducting butchering and portion control, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Communication skills and attention to detail are key aspects of this role.
Job Requirements
- 2 years high volume, full service restaurant experience in a management position
- warm, passionate, and committed to the industry
- excellent communication skills
- ability to remain calm, cool, and collected under pressure
- self-actualized and motivated
- self-discipline
- maintained professional appearance
- butchering experience preferred
- scratch kitchen experience preferred
