Job Duties

  • Provide leadership and direction to the culinary team to ensure all recipes, food preparations, and presentations meet bartaco's quality standards
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations to maintain seamless and efficient service flow
  • Lead by example during shifts, setting the tone for hospitality, energy, and attentiveness
  • Foster a positive work environment promoting teamwork, morale, and professional growth
  • Develop and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards
  • Uphold bartaco culture by hiring and onboarding team members who embody company values
  • Manage scheduling and staffing balancing operational needs with team well-being
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization, ensuring food safety and sanitation compliance
  • Collaborate with front-of-house management to meet guest and beverage quality standards
  • Manage inventory, food cost control, and conduct line checks
  • Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment and report maintenance needs
  • Support special events and catering functions as required
  • Celebrate team achievements and provide constructive feedback
  • Implement innovation and continuous process improvements in kitchen operations
