Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 plus years of relevant culinary management experience
  • Experience with POS and inventory control systems
  • Ability to work long shifts standing, sitting, squatting or walking
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Dexterity for operating kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work in varying temperature environments
  • Sensory ability to observe food safety and quality standards

Job Qualifications

  • 2 plus years of high-volume culinary management experience
  • Demonstrated working understanding of business operations and financials
  • Experience with POS systems and inventory control systems
  • Able to work ten-hour plus shifts
  • Must be able to work closing shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Finger and hand dexterity to operate kitchen machinery
  • Ability to withstand changes in temperature and work in confined space
  • Must possess sensory abilities to observe and detect emergencies and distinguish food qualities

  • Manage shifts including daily decision making, scheduling and planning
  • Demonstrate ingredient knowledge and understanding of culinary trends
  • Use career experience to help reach financial goals by controlling cost of goods
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization and equipment care
  • Manage on-the-fly requests with ease and poise
  • Foster continuous learning, open feedback and corrective action
  • Manage labor expectations and plan each scheduled shift
  • Demonstrate knowledge of sales and labor budgets and discuss P&L with management team
