Job Requirements

  • minimum of 1-3 years of kitchen supervisory experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue
  • experience preparing catered events and presenting foods for special events desirable
  • relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable
  • current ServSafe certification required

Job Duties

  • adhere to the company's mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • review monthly profit and loss statements and adjust as necessary
  • work with operations and sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute banquet functions in the absence of the kitchen manager or chef
  • estimate food consumption and make purchases as appropriate
  • schedule staff to accommodate business volume shifts
  • partner with kitchen manager or general manager to resolve disciplinary issues and promote teamwork
  • ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • supervise and oversee the preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
  • assist with kitchen equipment maintenance and conduct sanitation audits according to local health regulations
  • proactively maintain a clean, safe environment
  • report critical issues to general manager promptly
