Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education development (GED) diploma
- 3 to 5 years experience with kitchen operations and staff supervision
- Serve Safe Management certification
- demonstrated team management and delegation skills
- demonstrated issue resolution and coaching skills
- ability to motivate others and act as a change agent
- strong organizational and time management skills
- ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English
Job Qualifications

- brand certification a plus
- 3 to 5 years experience with kitchen operations and staff supervision

Job Duties
- Assist in supervising the day to day activities of kitchen staff
- assign responsibilities for specified work and set deadlines to ensure timely completion of work
- promote safety and sanitation by inspecting food handling and establishing safe practices
- follow HACCP procedures
- assist with menu planning, inventory, and managing supplies
- maintain effective cost control, service, and quality standards to maximize sales and profits
- comply with company and franchise standards and regulatory requirements
- serve as a resource for problem resolution
- provide recommendations for hiring, firing, advancement, and promotion of kitchen associates
- maintain effective communication and positive associate relations through timely and professional performance reviews and discipline
- provide high quality customer service and ensure proper staff training to support customer satisfaction and product quality
