Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of culinary experience, preferably in fine dining
  • Certification in food safety such as ServSafe or HACCP
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of food cost control and kitchen operations
  • Ability to maintain sanitation, safety, and quality standards
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly
  • Must comply with health and fire safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • 5 years or more of relevant culinary experience, fine dining culinary is preferred
  • Mastery of a wide variety of kitchen positions and stations
  • Ability to think on their feet and create, produce, and serve on the fly
  • Knowledge of food cost and quality identification
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and oral/written communication skills
  • Applied food service sanitation certification such as ServSafe and/or HACCP
  • Knowledgeable on HACCP controls and proper food storage
  • Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations
  • Review work procedures and operational problems to improve service, performance, or safety
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Exceptional business etiquette and client relations
  • Effective time management and task prioritization to meet deadlines

Job Duties

  • Lead the Delta Sky Club's food and beverage daily operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and unparalleled food and beverage offerings
  • Mentor and develop a passionate, dedicated, and diligent team
  • Ensure compliance with Compass-established policies and procedures
  • Maintain food cost while ensuring quality standards are consistently met in an a la carte dining environment
  • Assist Executive Chef to assure compliance with all sanitation, safety, food safety, production, and quality
  • Motivate, train, develop, and direct back-of-house employees to meet operation objectives to guest and client satisfaction
  • Ensure high-quality food items are prepared to Delta Sky Club's standards
  • Assist in planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation
  • Support management of cost controls and expenditures
  • Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with the culinary teams
  • Establish and maintain exceptional rapport with staff, clients, guests, and departments
  • Perform related duties and special projects as assigned
