Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of progressive line cooking experience
  • at least one year in a supervisory role
  • ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • positive and professional attitude
  • ability to work nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in progressive line cooking with at least one year in a supervisory role
  • preferred experience as Chef de Partie or Chef de Cuisine
  • culinary arts degree preferred but not required
  • experience with catering production
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to work nights and weekends

Job Duties

  • supervise kitchen staff and food preparation processes
  • oversee catering production and special events
  • ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • manage inventory and ordering of supplies
  • maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with residents, family members, visitors, and team members
  • train and mentor kitchen staff
  • assist in menu development and meal planning
