Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of four years progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club, hotel, or cruise line environment
  • experience in all cooking stations and methods
  • ability to work full time
  • ServeSafe Certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee food preparation and cooking in all production environments
  • direct and support day-to-day kitchen operations
  • supervise food production and sanitation staff
  • assist in hiring and training new kitchen staff
  • perform daily duties in absence of Executive Chef
  • manage kitchen opening and closing
  • participate in inventory control, development of par sheets, and placing food and supply orders
