Job Requirements
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Previous leadership experience in culinary settings
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and quality control
- Relevant culinary certifications including EcoSure and City of Chicago Managers Certification

- Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills
- Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance
- Previous experience with a Union environment is an asset
- EcoSure Managers Certification and City of Chicago Managers Certification
Job Duties
- Support the Executive Chef in leading the daily operations of the kitchens
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow colleagues
- Lead and supervise the quality of the food offered, as well as coordinate the production
- Actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions in daily shift briefings
- Maintain proper rotation of product in all chillers to minimize wastage/spoilage and ensure storeroom requisitions are accurate
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Follow and enforce all kitchen policies, procedures and service standards
- Follow and enforce all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Create unforgettable culinary experiences for our guests
