Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- Minimum 7 years of management experience in culinary operations
- Proficient in culinary practices and kitchen management
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
- Knowledgeable about relevant federal, state, and local regulations
- Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- At least 7 years of experience in a management role in the culinary field
- Proven experience working in a wide variety of culinary operations
- Familiarity with varied culinary practices
- Must have a high degree of creativity
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
- Effective communication in English, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local culinary regulations
Job Duties
- Supervises the preparation and presentation of quality food in the restaurants and outlets
- Assists in developing new menu and recipes for the restaurant, and continuously tests existing recipes to ensure quality
- Analyze food sales to determine the optimum menu and make recommendations to the Executive Chef
- Monitors kitchen activities to achieve maximum operating efficiency
- Ensure all hygiene rules are observed in the kitchen with particular attention to the preparation and storage of food
- Assists with the training, development and scheduling of kitchen staff
- Act as expediter as necessary
- Ensure all POS procedures are followed correctly
- Designs and conducts training for kitchen staff to ensure they perform according to company standards and regulations
- Ensures all Casino Food Services Rules and Regulations are applied consistently
- Evaluates staff performance and documents feedback
- Performs all other duties as assigned
