Job Requirements

  • At least 4 years of related progressive experience or culinary graduate with 2 years of experience
  • knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques
  • understanding of health department and liquor laws
  • physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • ability to maintain warm and friendly demeanor
  • effective verbal and written communication
  • strong listening and problem-solving skills
  • ability to multitask and prioritize
  • adherence to hotel standards and regulations
  • maintain confidentiality
  • attend required meetings and trainings

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary graduate with progressive hotel or related hospitality experience

Job Duties

  • Ensure all meals meet quality, consistency, and presentation standards
  • provide training for kitchen staff

  • control food and labor costs
  • maintain compliance with health and liquor regulations
  • oversee daily kitchen operations including hot and cold food preparation
  • respond promptly to guest complaints
