Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous chef experience preferred but not required
Food safety training preferred but not required
Ability to perform physical tasks in a kitchen environment
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Job Qualifications

Ability to supervise and train food service staff
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage inventory and monitor supplies
Flexibility to work varying schedules and open availability

Job Duties

Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards
Ensure all deadlines based on production orders are met
Supervise hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and performance reviews
Store food in designated areas following corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures
Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils and clean workstation thoroughly
Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
Demonstrate complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them
Monitor peak production and service hours
Track inventory and deliveries of product and supplies and report low stock to supervisor
Perform other duties as assigned
