Job Requirements
- Two years of prior food service or back-of-house experience
- ability to work full time Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:45 pm
- ability to follow recipes and production standards
- capability to supervise and train staff
- adherence to food safety and sanitation procedures
- good physical stamina for kitchen work
- effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum two years of prior food service or back-of-house experience
- strong leadership and supervisory skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- ability to prepare and cook food to high standards
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Job Duties
- Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards
- ensure all deadlines are met based on production orders
- supervise hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and disciplinary action
- store food in designated areas following corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
- ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
- maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, utensils, and workstations
- interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- demonstrate complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to associates and customers
- monitor inventory and deliveries of products and supplies
- track product production, consumption, and waste
- inform supervisor when supplies or products are low
- perform other duties as assigned
