Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in culinary arts or equivalent experience
  • Progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • Experience in high-volume foodservice preferred
  • Ability to supervise kitchen staff effectively
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Associate degree in culinary arts or equivalent experience
  • Progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • High-volume foodservice experience preferred
  • Strong catering experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in institutional or batch cooking
  • Deep understanding of culinary trends, food safety, sanitation standards, and cost control
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and internet applications
  • Customer-focused with a willingness to support client satisfaction initiatives
  • ServSafe certification is highly desirable

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing food and labor costs to meet financial goals
  • Support menu planning and recipe development in alignment with company standards
  • Lead food preparation and presentation for daily meals and special catering events
  • Collaborate on the rollout of new culinary initiatives and marketing programs
  • Supervise hourly kitchen associates as needed to ensure smooth operations
