Job Requirements
- Associate degree in culinary arts or equivalent experience
- Progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- Experience in high-volume foodservice preferred
- Ability to supervise kitchen staff effectively
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- ServSafe certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- Associate degree in culinary arts or equivalent experience
- Progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- High-volume foodservice experience preferred
- Strong catering experience is a plus
- Proficiency in institutional or batch cooking
- Deep understanding of culinary trends, food safety, sanitation standards, and cost control
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and internet applications
- Customer-focused with a willingness to support client satisfaction initiatives
- ServSafe certification is highly desirable
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing food and labor costs to meet financial goals
- Support menu planning and recipe development in alignment with company standards
- Lead food preparation and presentation for daily meals and special catering events
- Collaborate on the rollout of new culinary initiatives and marketing programs
- Supervise hourly kitchen associates as needed to ensure smooth operations
