We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team and work closely alongside our Chef de Cuisine. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the high standards for which Nell's is known. The role is very hands-on, requiring the Sous Chef to actively work a culinary station during service hours, directly engaging with prepping, cooking, and plating dishes consistently to the restaurant's exacting standards. The Sous Chef is also responsible for menu development input and ordering, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently each day.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in upscale dining establishments and a demonstrated passion for scratch cooking. Experience in high-end restaurants is considered a strong advantage. The work schedule typically consists of full-time shifts running from approximately 2 PM to 10 PM, allowing the Sous Chef to be present throughout peak service hours and support all culinary operations. Job Requirements
