We are currently seeking a dedicated and talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team in an on-site capacity. The position offers a competitive salary range from $60,000 to $74,000 annually, reflective of experience and skill level. The Sous Chef will report directly to the Executive Chef and will play an integral role in the daily operations of the kitchen. The Sous Chef will be responsible for supporting the Executive Chef in menu planning, managing kitchen staff, monitoring inventory, ensuring health and safety compliance, and maintaining the highest culinary standards. Job Requirements

  • at least 3 years experience in a professional kitchen
  • knowledge of sanitation and safety standards
  • availability to work on-site in Des Plaines
  • ability to handle physically demanding tasks
  • strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
