This role is a hands-on Sous Chef position located at the NBC Sports venue, offering an exciting opportunity to be directly involved in culinary operations that support both café and catering services. Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Experience in fast-paced kitchen environments
  • Ability to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
  • ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Basic administrative skills including ordering and inventory
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work schedule

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Lead day-to-day culinary execution across café service and catering
  • Act as a hands-on support at stations, assisting the team during service to ensure quality and flow
  • Help open and close operations, including end-of-day breakdown and cleaning standards
  • Support the culinary team with prep, cooking, plating, and service as needed
  • Assist with ordering, inventory, and basic administrative tasks
  • Ensure kitchen and service areas are clean, organized, and operating efficiently
  • Contribute to successful catering execution, from setup through breakdown
