This exquisite golf course was designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer and rests on 235 acres of stunning countryside that formerly served as a sod farm. The 18-hole course is renowned for its natural rolling terrain, beautifully manicured Bentgrass tees, fairways, and greens, abundant native prairie grasses, scenic wetlands, and 27 serene bodies of water. As a host of the PGA TOUR’s 3M Open, TPC Twin Cities represents the pinnacle of golfing excellence and luxury. The establishment is part of the respected TPC Network, which provides exceptional golfing experiences and top-notch hospitality.
Joining the team at TPC Twin Cities means becoming part of an elite community focused on delivering world-class service and a memorable experience to golf enthusiasts and guests. The culinary department plays a vital role in maintaining the club’s outstanding reputation by offering innovative, creative, and exquisite menu options that complement the exclusive atmosphere of the golf club. The role available invites culinary professionals to channel their creativity and expertise into crafting original menu items and displays that enhance the dining experience for members and guests alike.
This culinary position involves utilizing creative cooking techniques, managing portion control, and artful garnishing to ensure every dish meets the highest standard of quality and presentation. The candidate will assist in coordinating kitchen operations including staff scheduling and supply management to ensure seamless food service during both regular and banquet events. Taking accountability for cost management and operational performance is essential to maintaining the club’s financial health and delivering superior service.
The role requires a proactive and collaborative approach to kitchen management, working closely with the Executive Chef to achieve excellence in food quality and guest satisfaction. You will have the opportunity to lead, train, and inspire kitchen staff, uphold rigorous sanitation and safety standards, and implement efficient inventory control systems using ChefTec software. Responsibilities also encompass supporting marketing efforts related to food and beverage services, handling guest requests professionally, and stepping into supervisory roles as needed during meal periods and special functions.
With a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $60,000 depending on experience, the position offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a health savings account with employer contributions, life and disability insurance, and a 401(k) plan with employer match. Additional perks include pet insurance, an employee assistance program, paid time off and holidays, complimentary employee meals, access to PGA Tour golf tournaments, tuition assistance, and employee discounts including playing privileges.
