Job Requirements

  • Proven recent work history in a high-volume, upscale, polished dining environment
  • 3+ years in a stable, progressive work history and track record as a Sous Chef
  • Strong BOH experience including ordering, inventory, food and labor cost control
  • Creative problem solver with a calm presence under pressure

Job Duties

  • Support and exude a mindset and our "Hungry, Humble, Smart" culture
  • BOH operations: maintain recipe consistency, food quality, and waste control
  • Practice and maintain high cleanliness and safety
  • Maintain par levels, ordering systems, and inventory control to manage food and labor costs effectively
  • Practice and support BOH cost control initiatives to hit P&L targets and budgets
  • Mentor and develop kitchen staff to build high-performance teams
  • Partner with FOH leadership to ensure seamless service between the kitchen and the dining room
  • Develop an understanding of beverage offerings, including wine, to complement menu pairings
  • Represent and uphold values of authenticity, innovation, and leadership in every decision
