Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Sous Chef to lead the Back of House (BOH) operations and partner effectively with Front of House (FOH) leaders. This is a pivotal leadership position where you will have the opportunity to inspire a team of culinary professionals, ensuring consistent quality and driving operational excellence. The Sous Chef will be instrumental in maintaining recipe consistency, food quality, and waste control, all while keeping a strong focus on cost management practices including inventory and labor cost control.
In this role, you will play a hands-on leadership part in managing the kitchen’s daily operations in a fast-paced setting, helping to create an environment where culinary creativity and operational precision come together. Mentoring and developing kitchen staff to build high-performance teams is central to the role, helping to ensure that the culinary team not only meets but exceeds expectations in delivering outstanding dining experiences.
The Sous Chef will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety within the kitchen, aligning with all health regulations and company protocols. You will partner closely with FOH leadership to ensure seamless coordination between the kitchen and dining room, fostering an environment of teamwork and excellent communication.

Job Requirements
- Proven recent work history in a high-volume, upscale, polished dining environment
- 3+ years in a stable, progressive work history and track record as a Sous Chef
- Strong BOH experience including ordering, inventory, food and labor cost control
- Creative problem solver with a calm presence under pressure

- Mentor and develop kitchen staff to build high-performance teams
- Partner with FOH leadership to ensure seamless service between the kitchen and the dining room
- Develop an understanding of beverage offerings, including wine, to complement menu pairings
