Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least two years of prior chef experience preferred
  • ability to work full time with flexible schedule including varying hours and days
  • ability to comply with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • capability to handle physical demands of kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of two years prior chef experience preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to work effectively in a team
  • proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques
  • experience supervising and training food service associates

Job Duties

  • Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards
  • ensure all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • supervise hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and participating in reviews
  • store food in designated areas following corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils
  • clean workstation thoroughly before leaving area
  • keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service
  • interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • relay relevant information directly to supervisor
  • demonstrate complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to associates and customers
  • monitor inventory and deliveries of product and supplies
  • track product production, consumption and waste
  • inform supervisor when supplies or product are low
  • perform other duties as assigned
