Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
at least two years of prior chef experience preferred
ability to work full time with flexible schedule including varying hours and days
ability to comply with food safety and sanitation regulations
strong organizational and multitasking skills
excellent communication skills
capability to handle physical demands of kitchen environment

proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques
experience supervising and training food service associates

Job Duties

Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards
ensure all deadlines are met based on production orders
supervise hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and participating in reviews
store food in designated areas following corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils
clean workstation thoroughly before leaving area
keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service
interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
relay relevant information directly to supervisor
demonstrate complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to associates and customers
monitor inventory and deliveries of product and supplies
track product production, consumption and waste
inform supervisor when supplies or product are low
perform other duties as assigned
