  • working knowledge of food safety sanitation and kitchen best practices
  • ability to provide direction and oversight to a small team
  • passion for quality food preparation and delivering a positive dining experience

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma GED or equivalent experience
  • culinary experience leading food preparation at a specific station such as salads soups or other assigned areas
  • working knowledge of food safety sanitation and kitchen best practices
  • ability to provide direction and oversight to a small team supervising fewer than two full-time employees
  • passion for quality food preparation and delivering a positive dining experience

Job Duties

  • Lead food preparation and production for an assigned station ensuring quality consistency and presentation standards
  • support daily kitchen operations by maintaining organized workflows and proper food handling procedures
  • provide guidance and support to team members assigned to the station
  • follow all food safety sanitation and workplace safety requirements in alignment with Sodexo and Kaiser Permanente standards
