Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary certification or degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Ability to work early shifts
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to comply with food safety standards and regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary certification or relevant culinary education
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role in food service or hospitality
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience with menu planning and inventory management
  • Commitment to high-quality food preparation and service

Job Duties

  • Assisting the Chef in menu planning, food preparation, inventory, documentation and scheduling
  • Preparing food in accordance with the planned menu, noting changes when applicable
  • Ensuring all cooking, serving, storage, preparation, and service areas are clean, safe and organized to meet all applicable food service standards and regulations
  • Monitoring quality food service in accordance with Legend’s Gold Leaf Dining standards
  • Leading the kitchen environment in the absence of the Chef
