Job Description

We are seeking a Sole Chef for a 45-meter motor yacht (MY). This is a private, foreign flagged vessel known for its exceptional crew and owners who create a professional yet friendly working environment. The yacht operates on a 2:2 rotation schedule, offering a good balance between work and personal time for its crew members. Job Requirements

Kosher knowledge
At least 2 years of experience as a Head or Sole Chef on a vessel of similar size or larger
Ability to work under pressure
Up to date STCW
ENG1 medical certificate
Fire Fighting Level 2 certification
Schengen visa if applicable

Job Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience as a Head or Sole Chef on a vessel of similar size or larger
Proven knowledge and application of kosher dietary laws
Ability to work under pressure
Up to date STCW certification
Valid ENG1 medical certificate
Fire Fighting Level 2 certification (FHL2)
Schengen visa if applicable

Job Duties

Prepare all meals according to kosher dietary laws
Manage inventory and provisioning for the galley
Plan menus in coordination with yacht owner preferences and voyage itinerary
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the galley and related equipment
Work under pressure to meet the demands of owners and guests
Coordinate with the captain and crew for smooth culinary operations
Adhere to all safety and hygiene standards aboard the vessel
