This specific opportunity is for a Software Engineer - iOS/Android position within PNC's Digital Security & Authentication organization. The role is based in multiple locations including Pittsburgh, PA; Denver, CO; Strongsville, OH; Birmingham, AL; or Dallas, TX. The position is designed for a skilled Full Stack Java Developer with experience in both backend and mobile development. Candidates should possess expertise in building scalable web applications and mobile solutions targeting iOS and/or Android platforms. This multifaceted role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and modern web technologies such as Angular, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.

The role requires deep collaboration with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, UX designers, QA specialists, and DevOps engineers. Software Engineers will engage in the full software development lifecycle, from conceptual design through production deployment and ongoing support. Tasks extend into mobile application development for iOS (using Swift/Objective-C) and Android (using Kotlin/Java), integrating mobile apps with secure authentication methods and APIs, and optimizing for performance and user experience. Additional responsibilities include participating in CI/CD pipeline development, automated testing, code reviews, and employing best practices to enhance software security and reliability in a cloud-native, containerized environment.
