The Baker position at Snowbird Resort is a full-time, year-round role that plays a crucial part in delivering quality baked goods throughout the resort's various food service outlets. Reporting directly to the Pastry Chef, the baker is responsible for assisting in the preparation and execution of baked products that meet Snowbird's high standards for taste, presentation, and sanitation. Job Requirements
- Ability to interact pleasantly with guests and employees
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of relevant job experience
- Minimum age of 21
- Valid food handler permit
- Competency in reading, writing and arithmetic
- Basic culinary knowledge and knife skills
- Ability to learn recipes and kitchen techniques
- Ability to multitask and follow directions
- Judgment within policy guidelines
- Understanding of Snowbird operations
Job Qualifications
- Must have ability to interact pleasantly with guests and employees

Job Duties
- Report to work on time in the proper uniform
- Ensure standards of appearance and sanitation are maintained on a daily basis
- Maintain good safety practices of employees throughout the kitchen
- Participate in on-going employee training
- Take part in all incentive programs
- Maintain line of communication between Chef, Sous Chef and other kitchen staff
- Complete daily duties before and after shift
- Assist Pastry chef
