Job Requirements

  • previous history in the kitchen or relevant culinary setting
  • knowledge of cooking methods and food preparation principles
  • grasp of food safety standards and hygiene protocols
  • certification in food safety if not procured beforehand
  • foundational mathematics and counting skills
  • effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • create a diverse selection of dishes using standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • prepare workstations by organizing required ingredients and utensils
  • prepare ingredients by cutting, trimming, quantifying, blending
  • utilize different kitchen utensils and equipment safely by following recommended guidelines
  • prepare and cook dishes through various culinary processes such as baking, broiling, roasting, and steaming
  • arrange, adorn, and serve food meeting prescribed criteria for visual display
  • conform to all food safety regulations and store food properly
  • sanitize and disinfect kitchen areas, gear, and utensils
  • offer outstanding customer care and exude a positive outlook
  • adhere strictly to all safety and sanitation rules
  • ensure the safety of corporate valuables
