As a Driver at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will join a dedicated team charged with providing reliable and compassionate transportation services to the community’s residents. This full-time position operates Sunday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, reflecting the company’s commitment to maintaining a well-balanced work schedule for its employees. The driver role is central to ensuring residents can safely attend scheduled appointments and recreational outings, utilizing a variety of company vehicles that may include standard cars, wheelchair vans, and wheelchair buses.

Your responsibilities will extend beyond just transportation; you will play an active role in the daily upkeep and safety inspections of all company vehicles. This includes preventive maintenance tasks like fueling and coordinating scheduled service appointments. Safety is paramount in this position, as you will be expected to operate company vehicles in compliance with all applicable laws and ordinances, ensuring a secure and comfortable experience for all residents you assist. Additionally, the role requires an empathetic approach in helping seniors with mobility challenges, including assisting them in and out of vehicles using mechanical wheelchair lifts when necessary.

The position also calls for flexibility and teamwork, as drivers may be called upon to assist with scheduled resident activities or temporarily support functions such as receptionist or concierge duties.
