The Parking Spot is a reputable and well-established company with over 25 years of experience in the near-airport parking industry, making it the largest near-airport parking company in the United States. The company is currently seeking reliable Shuttle Drivers (Non-CDL) for all shifts including on-call positions. The role involves safely and courteously transporting customers between parking facilities and airport terminals. Shuttle Drivers play a vital role in ensuring a positive guest experience by maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. This position offers a competitive pay rate starting at $10 per hour, plus the opportunity to earn tips both in cash and through mobile payment options, along with regular bonus opportunities. The Shuttle Driver's duties include driving safely to transport up to 15 passengers, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of their vehicles, greeting and assisting customers with luggage, and providing pleasant interactions to enhance customer satisfaction. Drivers must have strong knowledge of the facility and airport layout to efficiently navigate between locations. Cooperation with team members is essential to uphold service excellence through collaborative efforts. Additional responsibilities may include cross-training for other frontline roles and complying with all regulatory requirements. Ideal candidates should be at least 21 years old with a high school education or equivalent. Previous driving and customer service experience are preferred, and maintaining a clean driving record consistent with company policies is required. Drivers must possess any necessary licenses or badges required by local authorities to operate commercial vehicles and be willing to pass a physical examination as mandated by airport and DOT regulations. Proficiency in English is essential for safety, communication, and compliance. Physical capability to assist with luggage, including safely lifting up to 50 pounds, is also necessary. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to maintain a satisfactory driving record
  • Required physical examination as per DOT regulations
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to comply with all applicable commercial vehicle operation regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Previous driver and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Currently holds and is able to maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Employee Handbook
  • Currently holds the applicable licenses or badges as required by governing authorities to operate a commercial vehicle
  • Must be willing to pass a physical as part of the selection process as required by airport, federal DOT and/or state regulations
  • Can read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records in compliance with the DOT regulations that require these skills
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds to assist with luggage with or without an accommodation

Job Duties

  • Safely transport up to 15 passengers to and from the airport terminal and TPS parking locations while adhering to all safe driving practices
  • Perform the appropriate pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Greet each customer with a smile, offering to assist with their luggage
  • Provide pleasant customer service
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the facility and airport terminals
  • Cooperate with all team members to provide the best possible service
  • May cross-train for other frontline positions as directed by management
  • Comply with all applicable regulations and requirements governing operation of commercial vehicles
  • Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by Management
