Job Description
The Parking Spot is a leading near-airport parking company in the United States, boasting more than 25 years of successful operation. With over 2,000 dedicated team members across more than 40 locations nationwide, The Parking Spot has established a reputation for excellence and reliability in the parking and shuttle service industry. The company is proudly employee-owned, offering each team member a direct financial stake in the company’s ongoing success through its Employee Ownership Program. This unique approach fosters a culture of collaboration, accountability, and shared achievement among all employees.
As a company committed to service excellence, The Parking Spot focuses on creating a welcoming and supportive environment for both its customers and employees. The company thrives on a foundation of strong values centered around teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement. By prioritizing these values, The Parking Spot ensures that every guest enjoys a seamless and positive experience when using its parking and shuttle services at airports throughout the country.
The role of Shuttle Driver (Non-CDL), offered in evening and overnight shifts, is crucial to maintaining The Parking Spot’s high standards of customer service and operational efficiency. Shuttle Drivers are responsible for safely transporting customers between the parking locations and airport terminals, providing a courteous, friendly, and smooth transit experience. This position is designed for individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, employees can expect a competitive pay rate of $13 per hour, plus tips that include both cash and mobile options, along with regular bonus opportunities. The company supports its drivers with consistent schedules, comprehensive training, and professional development opportunities that encourage career growth. Eligible employees have access to a broad range of benefits, including medical, vision, dental, and 401(k) plans, as well as paid time off, vacation pay, and paid holidays. This position also offers the chance to join the company’s employee ownership program, enabling drivers to share in the financial success of The Parking Spot.
The Shuttle Driver role requires not only driving skill but also the ability to engage positively with customers, assist with luggage, and maintain knowledge of both the facility and airport terminals to provide an informed and helpful service. Drivers must perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and comply with all regulations governing commercial vehicle operation, demonstrating responsibility and attention to safety. Flexibility is encouraged, as drivers may be cross-trained in other frontline positions to support operational needs as directed by management.
At The Parking Spot, diversity, equity, and inclusion are core to the company’s ethos. The organization actively celebrates differences and is committed to fostering an environment where all employees, partners, and customers feel welcome, respected, and valued. In sustaining a workforce that reflects diverse backgrounds and perspectives, The Parking Spot enhances its ability to serve customers from all walks of life and uphold its standing as a leader in the travel and parking industry.
