With thousands of stores worldwide, Starbucks embraces a culture centered on community, sustainability, and inclusion, encouraging partners to bring their whole selves to work and contribute to a positive and engaging atmosphere. As a company, Starbucks is committed to partner growth and development, offering a wide array of benefits and educational opportunities that support both career advancement and wellbeing.

The role of a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks is integral to maintaining this standard of excellence and warmth. As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead by example, crafting quality beverages and food products while fostering a welcoming, community-oriented atmosphere in your coffeehouse. The position requires a balance of leadership, communication, and hands-on involvement, suited for individuals who enjoy working as part of a dynamic team and sharing their love of coffee and connection.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those passionate about coffee and leadership to join a brand celebrated worldwide and make tangible impacts on the customer experience daily. You will enjoy flexible hours, with shifts that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, or holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of the retail coffee environment. Starbucks invests heavily in your personal and professional growth, with clear pathways for advancement and an inclusive work environment. Compensation is competitive and based on geographic location and individual qualifications, ensuring fairness and market alignment.

Additionally, Starbucks offers an industry-leading benefits package designed to support you and your family’s health and financial security. From medical, dental, and vision insurance to paid parental leave, vacation time, and comprehensive retirement plans, Starbucks ensures that its partners feel valued. Educational programs such as the Starbucks College Achievement Plan provide 100% tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor’s degree through Arizona State University’s online program, showcasing the company’s commitment to lifelong learning and development. Moreover, Starbucks supports work-life balance and diversity through leave benefits compliant with various state laws, partnership with collective bargaining representatives where applicable, and accommodation services for partners with disabilities.

Joining Starbucks as a Shift Supervisor means becoming part of a company that not only prioritizes the quality of its product but also the quality of its people and their experiences. It is a role that empowers you to lead with craft and heart, creating an environment where both customers and partners can thrive. This opportunity is ideal for those who excel in multitasking, coaching, and building strong interpersonal connections while contributing to a team-oriented culture that values inclusion, learning, and growth.
