Job Requirements
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality with or without reasonable accommodation
- Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays
- Meet store operating policies and standards including quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety with or without reasonable accommodation
- Six months of experience in a customer-facing role fulfilling customer requests
- Comply with coaching and modeling dress code including tattoos, piercings and hair colors
- Prepare and coach preparation of food and beverages according to standards and customizations
- At least six months experience delegating tasks and coordinating two or more employees
Job Qualifications
- Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment for at least one year
- Effective oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of the retail environment
- Ability to build relationships
- Ability to learn quickly
Job Duties
- Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote Starbucks culture, values and mission
- Maintain a calm demeanor during high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard
- Anticipate customer and store needs by evaluating environment and customers for cues and communicating to manager
- Assist with new partner training by reinforcing performance and giving respectful coaching
- Contribute to positive team environment by recognizing changes in partner morale and communicating to manager
- Provide clear, specific, timely and respectful coaching and feedback to partners to ensure operational excellence
- Deliver legendary customer service by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with customers
